HEY! 📣 Have you been looking for a laid-back place to hang out, have fun, and make art? We're inviting all Artcite Members to a Collage Party on Wednesday, September 13, 6–9pm—hosted by our very own Secretary of the Board, Meaghan Sweeney! ✨ Mingle, create, and learn more about Artcite and our governance. All are welcome and materials are free! We hope to see you there! 👻🪼🍓

Not super into collaging? Have another project you want to work on? No problem, you're welcome to freestyle!

Meaghan Sweeney (she/they) is a contemporary mixed media artist based in Windsor-Essex. Their work is an introspective exploration of self, analyzing themes of values, personal philosophy, identity, and mental illness. Sweeney received their BFA in Fine Arts at the University of Windsor in 2021 and a Beaux-Arts certificate from Collège Boréal in 2016. They are the President of ACWR’s Vanguard Youth Arts Collective. Sweeney also has a strong passion for mental health advocacy and using art as a tool for connection, healing, and community building.
