August 28–October 3, 2026
Sylvie Bélanger & Edith and Gerald Jackson Galleries

Opening Reception: August 28, 7–10pm
Artist Talk: August 29, 2pm

Betty Pomerleau
is a visual artist and performer. After practicing mime and choreography, she received a masters from Paris’ École nationale supérieure des Arts décoratifs with the jury’s distinction. Her work takes form in sculpture, drawing, and play, forging connections between notions like haunting, situated knowledges, memory palaces, dust, and follies. Her crafted machines work in loops, shifts, and returns, night and day.

Pomerleau will develop elements of her exhibition during a brief residency at Artcite, working with the space and materials in the days leading up to the opening. The exhibition title and further details will be shared as the installation unfolds.
