Ricardo Rodriguez and Josinah Makotoko will be activating the Artcite Inc. gallery as our 2024 Waawiiyaatanong BIPOC Artists in Residence, from January 10–March 9.
Their collaborative, community-focused, skateboarding-based art and education project, Creative Output Theory (COT), officially opens to the public on February 10. Event schedules and drop-in hours will be posted weekly from February 11–March 9.
Ricardo Rodriguez (he/him) is an artist, athlete, and extremely passionate being from Windsor. His life revolves around self-expression through poetry, skateboarding, boxing, making delicious food, and working with the community for a greater cause. Ricardo recently helped put together an event to help collect winter clothing and non-perishables for the Windsor Youth Centre. He designs and creates clothing under his brand Agapé Love Connection, which he established to spread the message of unconditional love.
