This month’s Table Talk presenter is Cheryl Abela, owner of Coffyn Piez. Cheryl will be presenting Ross il-Forn, a traditional Maltese baked rice dish prepared with a combination of rice and a flavourful sauce that usually consists of minced meat, tomato sauce, and various spices. For Cheryl, this dish conjures powerful childhood memories. Variations of Ross il-Forn exist in cultures around the world. We're excited to explore the ways our stories intertwine.
Table Talk offers an interactive experience that includes food tasting. Each participant will leave with ingredients and a recipe, so they can prepare the dish for others and pass on the knowledge and stories they've been told.
