Michael Campbell, creates small theatrical domestic tableaus displayed in a state of stalled construction ( in this case, a half-scale model of a shabby 1950s furnished room). Incorporating video loops projected into these room fragments, his works generate a tension between utopian faith and fabricated absurdity.
