Roxannne Jackson

Roxanne Jackson’s (Minneapolis, MN, USA) sculptural installations explore the duality of human nature through the metamorphosis of humans and animals. Her installations are macabre scenarios of predator vs. prey, good vs. evil, instinct and survival. Primarily a ceramicist, Jackson is experimenting with a variety of unconventional materials.

For “MONSTER”, Roxanne Jackson will be bringing selected recent works, including the oversized papier mache whale from “Whale Disco Ocean Party”, to Artcite this June.

Roxanne Jackson currently teaches ceramics at SUNY Oswego New York.
