Rhonda Weppler
Tunnel
January 4–February 2, 2002
Two-person exhibition with Michael Campbell.
Rhonda Weppler’s work focuses on the fragility of surfaces, working with veneered “skins” of furniture to create sculptures that twist, mutate and sag over time. These seemingly flimsy constructions are actually painstakingly constructed, and speak of tragedy and loss in relation to the domestic.
