Skate/Action photography. Tips and tricks on how to catch the perfect moment for an action shot, from a veteran! Carlos will be teaching composition, lighting, timing, and all around style!

How to discover your niche, aligning your purpose with your medium, how to attract your ideal clients and running a photography business. Applicable to all artists, not just photographers!

Participants will learn framing, lighting, composition, focal length, settings, aspect ratios, solo filming techniques/strategies, and basic editing for social media platforms.
Creative Output Theory (COT) is a collaborative, community-focused, skateboarding-based art and education project created and coordinated by Artcite’s 2024 Waawiiyaatanong BIPOC Artists in Residence, Josinah Makotoko and Ricardo Rodriguez. COT officially opened on February 10. Event schedules and drop-in hours are posted weekly from February 11–March 9.
